Robert is a co-founder of Red Rock International and now co-ordinates the different offices as International Director.
As a veteran of RRI challenge events, he understands that the job of running a flawless event is often more demanding even than taking part!
Robert’s always on the lookout for chances to develop businesses and develop people by sharing adventures.
He’s often out mountain biking or climbing in Scotland and increasingly has some of his four young children along for the journey!
In the years since starting Red Rock International, Nick has developed training and events for some of the world’s leading companies across four continents and has many entertaining stories from the journey. However, what most often strikes people about Nick is how interested he is in them and their story. He embodies the company motto of ‘believing in people.’ Now heading up our team in Qatar Nick is entering a new adventure. He maintains a remarkable life balance and enjoys time with his family, regular runs and even the occasional mountaineering foray.
Rachel has a passion for developing young people and is
heading up our student leadership development CSR programmes in the Gulf. With
her background in education and 5 years’ experience at Hamad bin Khalifa
University in Doha, she has a great understanding of how leadership experiences
are vital for developing students.

Sam is one of the UK team responsible for designing stages for global challenges. His background at Rolls Royce prepared him for engineering the innovative builds we include on challenges and the attention to detail required for flawless delivery. Sam has more hobbies than spare time and struggles to fit in all the surfing, climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking and socialising he craves!
Euan joined Red Rock International with a strong background in project management, which he’s put to good use in managing some of RRI’s epic projects in the UK, Qatar and Kazakhstan. He does a solid job of steering all our creative and adventurous ideas into a format that will actually work. Outside work, he’s often found admiring his collection of bikes (and sometimes riding them), or enjoying the beach just down the hill from his house is Swansea.
Merna joined RRI as a marketing graduate and with experience
creating marketing buzz around events.
She now plays a strong role in creating the visual identity and collateral for our global events and brings a great eye for design to all she does. Although originally from Oman, Merna is now part of our Cairo team.
Merna is a very active sportswoman.

Charlie is a creative type who brings fresh ideas both to
our event designs, and also to our event communications. He has a great way
with words and is the go-to person for web content, press releases, social
media updates and most importantly – grammar correction!
Outside work, he’s busy with three children and the important task of maintaining his encyclopaedic knowledge of movies.
The outdoors and adventure have been a defining part of Matt's life from an early age, and it was not long before he entered the outdoor pursuits world - at one time one of the youngest Mountain Leaders in the UK. He has both lived and worked in Africa and France, so brings a unique flavour to RRI. Matt is also passionate about training and development: he has recently started an initiative to help people gain the experience needed to become outdoor instructors.
